Telex/RTS to roll out HR-1, -2 headsets with dynamic mics

Telex/RTS will launch the Telex HR-1 and HR-2 medium-weight, noise reduction headsets with dynamic microphones at NAB2005.

The HR-1 and HR-2 have a noise reduction rating of 21dB. All models feature a unique, soft moleskin-covered headband design that distributes ear cushion pressure evenly over the entire ear with no pressure points. The headset can fold into a compact shape.

The headsets have a boom microphone arm with a sealed ball-and-socket joint and flexible boom. The boom rotates overhead for microphone placement on either side of the head. The microphone cartridge removes for replacement by loosening two screws and unsoldering the cartridge.
