At the 2009 NAB Show, Triveni Digital will demonstrate a mobile signaling layer/channel changer software extension to the existing GuideBuilder PSIP system. By integrating metadata management and generation for mobile DTV directly into GuideBuilder, the company is providing broadcasters with both terrestrial and mobile functionality in a single platform using their existing workflow.
GuideBuilder's new signaling capabilities for mobile DTV enable transmission of channel-changer signaling-layer data to mobile ATSC receivers, allowing users to select and change viewing channels.
