TSA installs four Miranda Kaleido-K2s

Spain’s Telefonica Servicios Audiovisuales' playout center now features four Miranda Kaleido-K2 multi-image processors.
Spain's Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA) has installed four Miranda Kaleido-K2 multi-image display processors for monitoring up to 100 SDI/PAL signals and audio channels.

TSA, a satellite TV playout center for networks serving Spanish-speaking markets, is responsible for controlling and monitoring output signals using the Miranda processors in conjunction with a custom video/audio alarm-logging system developed by systems integrator CROSSPOiNT.

Two Kaleido-K2 dual-head multi-image display processors and two single-output units are in operation at the company's "Ciudad de la IMAGEN" facility in Madrid, where they are used to drive six plasma screens.

The 32-input Kaleido-K2 processor features a robust design and provides a high-quality, feature-rich display that can support multiple video formats, including HD-SDI, SDI, composite, Y/C, RGB, PAL, analog HD and streaming video.
