Day and Night News and ABN Andhra Jyothi in South Asia have signed up to use The Associated Press’ ENPS newsroom system.

Day and Night News, in Chandigarh, India, will be the first ENPS site in the nation’s Punjab region, near the Pakistani border. The regional news channel, which provides news in Punjabi, Hindi and English, will rely on 33 workstation licenses as part of a full system based on ENPS, Apple Final Cut Pro and Building4Media automation.

ABN Andhra Jyothi, a regional news station in Hyderabad, India, has already installed 20 ENPS workstations. System training has been completed, and dry runs are currently underway.
