Utah Scientific's MC-40 HD/SD channel-branding system is being used as a stand-alone device to provide dedicated emergency alert system (EAS) presentation downstream of an existing master control switcher.
The MC-40 accepts EAS text and audio messages from an EAS decoder and performs keying as well as audio message presentation on its own, without the need for additional equipment, streamlining the EAS presentation process. Based on Utah Scientific's MC-400 system, the MC-40 features two keyers, an internal logo generator and an audio clip store.
Utah Scientific's EAS and master control technology comes with the same 10-year warranty as its routing systems.
