Vaddio unveils ClearVIEW HD-18 PTZ camera

The ClearVIEW HD-18 features a glass multielement wide dynamic-zoom lens, a tally light and a 1.8lux rating.

Robotic PTZ camera and camera control systems developer Vaddio showcased the ClearVIEW HD-18 single CCD HD PTZ camera, equipped with a 1/3in, 1.3-megapixel CCD imaging sensor, at IBC2009.

The ClearVIEW HD-18 features a glass multielement wide dynamic-zoom lens (18x optical), a tally light and a 1.8lux rating. The company also will release an optional HD-SDI card in the fourth quarter. Other new PTZ cameras displayed in the booth include the Panasonic AW-HE100 and the new Sony BRC-Z330.
