VertigoXmedia to roll out HD capability for Xmedia Suite

VertigoXmedia will introduce HD authoring, editing and graphics control for its Xmedia Suite MOS-compliant centralized asset management system at IBC2005.

The company has also added HD capabilities to the VertigoXG graphics system with a new field-upgradeable Scaler Module that provides for conversion and simultaneous output of SD and HD signals.

The latest release of the Xmedia Suite includes the new VertigoNLX plug-in for Avid NLEs and the new Graphics Work Order Management feature that enables journalists and production staff to generate work orders for new graphic elements electronically, directly from their desktops.
