Brick House Video to launch Syntax Up/Cross-Converter

Brick House Video, in partnership with the French company Let It Wave, will demonstrate the use of Let It Wave’s field programmable gate array using bandlet algorithms in the new 1RU Syntax HD Up/Cross-Converter.
Let It Wave’s bandlet algorithm-running FPGA brings the advantages of motion-compensated processing without the high cost and occasional severe artifacts.
Syntax will debut at IBC2006 in Amsterdam and is scheduled to ship in October.
