Vislink is showcasing its new ADVENT Newswift HD satellite antenna system at the NAB Show in Las Vegas.
The Newswift HD antenna is a fully integrated vehicle-mounted satellite system designed to support HD video and high-power C-, Ku- and DBS-band RF systems. It is available with 1.8m and 1.5m antennas.
Newswift HD has an enlarged weatherproof electronics enclosure that enables it to accommodate pairs of redundant solid-state power amplifiers. The NewSwift’s compact and lightweight design is ergonomically styled to meet the operational requirements of the antenna and the vehicle on which it will be mounted.
The Vislink Newswift HD antenna uses ADVENT 5000 Series compact, lightweight electronics. The 5000 Series units are designed to work with all of the ADVENT portable and mobile satellite antennas for HD and SD.
