Vizrt offers high-resolution Gaza, D.C. maps

Vizrt is providing high-resolution maps of Gaza and Washington, D.C., for free to TV broadcasters to generate branded, animated map imagery for their newscasts.

Through Vizrt’s partnership with high-resolution world imagery provider Digital Globe, the Gaza and Washington, D.C., map packages are available for free download from http://www.digitalglobe.com.

Once downloaded, the maps immediately “plug-and-play" within each station’s Viz Curious Maps system to create stylized maps that can zoom from the station’s geographical location directly to the streets of Gaza or Washington, D.C.
