VMMa selects ScheduALL for production and project management

Vlaamse Media Maatschappij (VMMa), the primary commercial television broadcasting company serving the Dutch-speaking northern region of Belgium, has chosen ScheduALL software to manage all production personnel and equipment.

ScheduALL will provide a platform to integrate disparate systems, automate planning and bookings, and reduce production costs for VMMa’s three television channels. These include VTM, the main broadcasting channel; KanaalTwee; and JIM, a channel aimed at the youth market.

The ScheduALL software is an operations management solution designed to meet the resource scheduling and business needs of broadcast and production facilities. At VMMa, ScheduALL will integrate with existing human resources and accounting systems to provide a unified, end-to-end workflow and a single focal point for resource management.

ScheduALL will be used in the production and news departments for project planning, post production, editing, equipment and personnel scheduling. Currently, VMMa relies on a combination of spreadsheets, e-mail and other manual input devices for recording time and expenses, booking and scheduling production rooms and other resources, as well as coordinating personnel for production jobs.
