Wireworks’ BG Cable Assemblies are offered in a variety of lengths.
Wireworks will introduce its new series of BG Cable Assemblies, which feature the company's MusiLUX flexible microphone cable, at NAB2009 (Booth C4147). The new AES/EBU digital cable is combined with Neutrik’s convertCON connector.
Wireworks’ new BG Cable Assemblies can be used in both microphone and line-level applications and eliminate the hassle of worrying about XLR connector gender issues. Neutrik’s convertCON is a new three-pin male and female cable connector in a single housing. By simply sliding the housing back and forth, convertCON is transformed from a male to female connector.
The BG Cable Assemblies are offered in a variety of standard lengths (custom lengths are available upon request) and come in four configurations: XLR male to convertCON, XLR female to convertCON, convertCON to convertCON and quarter-inch TRS to convertCON.
Wireworks’ MusiLUX cables come in an ultra-flexible PVC satin finish outer jacket that is available in various colors to match studio decor and simplify signal identification. BG Assemblies are also available with Wireworks’ 110ohm AES/EBU-compliant transmission cable for use in digital applications.
