Arima Communications incorporates SPIRIT DSP video and voice processing solutions into handsets

Taiwanese mobile handset maker Arima Communications has integrated SPIRIT DSP’s mobile video and voice processing solution into its smart phones.

In a press statement, Robert Lai, VP of Anima Communications, said his company chose the SPIRIT DSP system because “only SPIRIT’s voice and video solution is specifically optimized for mobile platforms, while other offerings are mostly optimized for PC only.”

The SPIRIT solution, comprised of the company’s TeamSpirit Voice Engine and TeamSpirit Video software, enables the high-quality synchronization of full-duplex voice with full-duplex video on mobile devices without background noise.
