JVC to offer 4:2:2 color sampling option for DM-JV600U encoder

JVC Professional Products plans to deliver its DM-JV600U HD MPEG-2 encoder with an optional 4:2:2 color sampling upgrade.

The 4:2:2 sampling option will provide more color information with greater color accuracy and intensity in the video signal. JVC will make the option available at no additional charge for a limited time.

The 4:2:2 process achieves extremely high-quality HD imagery, with more realistic and lifelike images than conventional HD 4:2:0 systems. With 4:2:2 support, the DM-JV600U encoder will provide twice the vertical chroma sampling for truer, richer color resolution. Visit JVC for more about the DM-JV600U option.
