MYAT to introduce new UHF and L-band mobile media filters

MYAT will debut at NAB2007 a new line of high- and low-power filters designed to address the rigidity and stringent rejection requirements of UHF and L-band mobile media applications. With the filters, covering a power range of 10W to 10kW, elliptic function filter responses of up to 12 sections use multiple cross couplings to attenuate unwanted signals at the transmitter output to meet FCC requirements. Dual-mode cavities are used for higher power applications requiring low loss, while much smaller coaxial cavities are used for the lowest power applications. Dielectric resonator designs are available with exceptional low loss for L-band lower power applications.
