NAB-HD model station to use Axcera transmitter for demonstration

Axcera will provide the transmitter system for the NAB-HD digital television station demonstration at the NAB2005.

NAB-HD was created to bring everything that goes into building a successful digital television station into a single, operational demonstration. Show attendees will have the opportunity to follow the digital HD signal from the studio through the transmitter in this fully functioning digital television station right on the exhibit floor.

The NAB-HD signal, consisting of both live and pre-recorded content, will be broadcast using an Axcera Innovator LX solid-state digital low power UHF transmitter. This digital transmitter, which offers a modular design and fully broadband LDMOS amplifiers, is part of Axcera's full line of low and high power digital and analog transmitters for both UHF and VHF applications.
