Polish public broadcaster chooses Harris for transmitter facility

Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) has selected Harris for a new transmission facility build out at its broadcast headquarters in Warsaw.

The system will be used to play out seven new television channels. The order includes a variety of products that together form an interoperable workflow, including Harris NEXIO XS servers; expansions to TVP's existing H-Class ADC playout automation system; the IconLogo channel branding solution; Inscriber G-Series live production graphics systems; a Panacea router; and a raft of distribution products.

The sale was made through JBD, the Harris distributor in Poland.
