Telescope mobile participation media services expand to 12 programs

Telescope, a provider of participation media services, has extended its multichannel services to 12 TV programs scheduled to air in the first quarter of 2008. The company is using its iME (Integrated Media Engine) to manage voting and other consumer participation activities across mobile phones, landlines and the Internet.

Among the shows are Bravo’s “Make Me a Supermodel,” Lifetime’s “How to Look Good Naked,” ABC’s “Dance War” and “Miss America” on TLC. The company will also manage the interactive voting for “American Idol” on Fox, which will hold the first voting show of its seventh season tonight. In addition, future campaigns are planned for Univision, MTV, E!, CBS, Fox and the NBA.

Last year, Telescope worked with the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) and Mobile Entertainment Forum (MEF) to create and launch committees and best practices for participation media related to mobile devices.
