Dual-input SDI audio monitor
Wohler AMP1-16M
Provides high-performance monitoring of embedded audio in two 3G/HD or SD-SDI streams; 1RU system de-embeds and provides metering and monitoring of any or all of the 16 audio channels in the selected 3G/HD or SD-SDI stream; designed to offer intuitive operation and clear display levels, as well as other critical information using bright, 2.4in LED-backlit LCD displays; enables one-touch monitoring and summing of any selected pair(s) to built-in speakers, headphones or XLR-balanced analog outputs.
Frame synchronizer and format converter
AJA Video Systems FS2
Delivers dual-channel conversion and frame synchronizing power and flexibility in a 1RU space; with two independent video and audio processors, the unit can do the work of two separate devices or combine both processors together for maximum flexibility; features comprehensive analog and digital I/O to integrate into any workflow and allow multiple output types of any signal.
Multi-studio software
Mosart Medialab Multi-Studio Solution
Software package for the larger multi-studio broadcasters; consists of Mosart Media Router and Mosart Template Sharing; scarce resources such as video server ports and graphics engines can be shared for optimal use of infrastructure; workflow is optimized through template sharing and automated template database, making it possible for journalists to call templates from the Newsroom Computer System.
Compact multiviewer
Apantac TAHOMA MiniQ
Accepts and auto-detects composite, SD, HD and 3G-SDI signals; supports DVI/HDMI and SDI outputs; displays embedded audio meters; supports the TSL protocol over IP and serial; can be used as a standalone quad-split multiviewer or expanded to a full system where up to eight hot-swappable TAHOMA-Mini-Q modules can be combined in a 3RU rack frame with hot-swappable redundant power supplies.
Up/down/crossconverters
Evertz 7812UDX series
The 7812UDX-HD and 7812UDX-AES-HD are broadcast-quality up/down/crossconverters that convert between common SD/SMPTE ST 259 and HD/SMPTE ST 292-1 video signals; 7812UDX-3G and 7812UDX-AES8-3G add support for common 3G/SMPTE ST 424 video signals; these modules support frame synchronization and external genlock inputs (card and frame reference) for video timing adjustments; incorporates Mosquito Noise Reduction and Block Artifact Reduction in addition to motion adaptive spatial-temporal noise reduction.
Multiviewer
Grass Valley Trinix NXT
Latest enhancements include on-screen mouse and cursor functionality to expand individual tiles to full screen, powerful signal monitoring, status, alarming functions, and the ability to import and export configurations for predetermined screen layouts; each multiviewer board includes 32 scalars, with all inputs and outputs on each board supporting all video standards from 480i to 1080p.
Fiber-optic receiver
LYNX Technik yellowbrik ORX 1900
The fiber to L-Band receiver accepts and restores RF signals from a single-mode fiber; accepts wide range of optical inputs from 1270nm to 1610nm; includes two RF outputs for signal distribution or monitoring; supports L-Band ranges from 700MHz to 2300MHz; used with OTX 1910 transmitter, makes robust, cost-effective RF delivery system for distances up to 10km.
Cross-media scheduling, workflow software
MediaGeniX WHATS’On
Software manages and optimizes cross-media broadcasting, scheduling and content lifecycle processes; designed for broadcasters, telcos, platform operators and on-demand service providers; streamlines current process but will also grow along with the operator’s most ambitious plans; allows operators to easily launch new channels or set up additional on-demand, cost-effective services, while optimizing workflow and infrastructure.
Audio control surface
Wheatstone LX-24
Latest control surface for WheatNet-IP audio-over-IP Intelligent Network; low-profile, tabletop IP control surface that has the feel of a traditional board with Wheatstone AoIP routing; can assign any source to any fader; able to hot-swap individual modules without powering down; control surface can be operated from anywhere in the network.
Satellite terminal
Vislink Advent Mantis MSAT
Portable tri-band satellite antenna system is designed for ease of use and rapid deployment; weighs 12.5kg; can easily be carried by one person; integrated design means that set-up takes only minutes from arrival to satellite acquisition, making it ideal for rapid deployment field applications; comes with either a 65cm or 90cm reflector as standard and can be configured to be used in Ka, Ku and X bands; power is supplied either from mains outlets or 12VDC to 36VDC supplies.
