RFS to unveil 40mm manifold combiner

At IBC2006, Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) will unveil a low-power 40mm manifold combiner that relies on the company’s new four-pole 40mm 15-Watt UHF filter for ultra-low-power DTV translator sites.

The filter is the key component of the four-pole 40mm CM4P40CLE manifold combiner, the smallest and lightest combiner in the company’s suite of broadcast RF combining solutions.

These modular units can be used to combine up to four DTV channels (initially up to 15 Watts each) that are spaced at least three channels apart. This makes them well suited for applications at low-power DTV translator sites typically found in the UK, Germany, Korea and Taiwan.
