The Solutions for Media (S4M) Video Production Management System (VPMS) will play a central role for German public broadcaster Radio Bremen.
S4M's VPMS is a complete video solution, offering ingest, browsing, rough cut and management of low-res preview and high-res storage of broadcast video material.
Radio Bremen will use the S4M solution for making the essence of TV, radio and Internet material available across all three media at the same time, opening synergies to the broadcaster and providing faster, more-effective information for viewers, listeners and Web-users.
Radio Bremen is the German public broadcaster for the federal state of Bremen. Radio Bremen produces TV programs for the nationwide channel Erstes Deutsches Fernsehen.
Radio Bremen produces four radio programs and a comprehensive Web page. Radio programming is created in Bremen-Vahr, and television is produced at Bremen-Osterholz. Additionally, Radio Bremen maintains a regional studio in Bremerhaven. The new Radio Bremen buildings in the western part of Bremen will be completed next fall.
