Hughes bolsters HughesNet with Helius solutions

Hughes Network Systems has partnered with Helius to use the latter’s technology in its new HughesNet Digital Media suite of services.

HughesNet Digital Media services give customers access to a single-source, managed solution for the delivery and management of multimedia content for a variety of business IPTV and digital signage applications.

Hughes said the partnership would benefit its retail and financial services customers who were developing internal- and external-facing applications involving IP video.
