Sony and Front Porch Digital have forged a strategic alliance to deliver complete archive infrastructure solutions. Their solutions combine Front Porch's DIVArchive archive management application and Sony's SAIT PetaSite tape storage systems.
The firms’ joint users have the option of using Sony or a third party for systems integration services. In either case, the partnership will provide a scalable solution for digital archives and media asset management.
