UK-based TMD announced the availability of Version 3 of its Mediaflex media asset and workflow management solution. The system is currently installed at leading UK and overseas broadcasters.
Mediaflex helps broadcasters transition from physical media through a hybrid environment to a completely digital one. It supports the smooth passage of each item of media throughout its life cycle, regardless of its format and — aided by a number of specialized modules — delivers integrated workflow processes and procedures for improved efficiency and reduced costs.
Key features of Mediaflex Version 3 include support for Windows Media 9; support for simultaneous parallel ingest from multiple diverse systems; scene change recognition in both high and low resolution formats; and web capabilities for searching and streaming media.
