Archion NODE storage technology makes NAB debut

Each Node 800 has the ability to support multiple clients simultaneously.

Archion introduced the NODE at NAB. The NODE 800 offers eight drives with independent SAS channels supporting up to 8TB of storage, with four 4-Gig ports. All drives are smart-capable for status analysis. The drive supports multiple RAID sets, multiple hosts, LUN masking and storage provisioning of all Vdiscs on both ports for switchless file sharing.

The new array is upgradeable to 8Gb/s Fibre Channel and offers 800MB/s performance standard. Each NODE 800 can support multiple clients simultaneously. It is Mac and PC compatible and provides 1GB of cache RAM tuned for digital video applications.

The NODE 2400 is configured with up to 24 drives through four ports, supporting capacities of up to 24TB of RAID storage. All drives are smart-capable. It is upgradeable to 8Gb/s Fibre Channel, provides multiple streams up to 1200MB/s, and offers full compatibility with 1Gb/s, 2Gb/s and 4Gb/s Fibre Channel architecture.
