ATG Broadcast has completed a major technical upgrade for The Farm, a post-production company in the UK. Based in Soho Square, London, The Farm provides a wide range of services, including HD post production for feature films and television, digital post production for television, commercials, music promos and DVD encoding. The project is the latest in a series of installations planned and performed by ATG Broadcast for the Farm Group in recent years.
Equipment installed by ATG Broadcast included an Avid Symphony Nitris video editing system, Pro-Bel Axis HD router under Morpheus control, AES audio routing, plus an Eyeheight legalEyes legalizer and safeEyes cage generator.
In addition to the Sony Grade 1 edit monitor, client monitoring includes both 26in and 46in Sony Bravia LCD panels. Audient ASP510 multichannel audio monitoring was also installed. A Tektronix HD-SDI rasterizer with Dolby E decoder is used for signal monitoring. Trilogy HD sync pulse generators were fitted in the basement CTA, producing comprehensive SD and HD reference pulses for distribution throughout the building.
