Entries for the International CES Innovations 2008 Design and Engineering Awards will be accepted through Sept. 28, 2007. The annual competition honors outstanding design and engineering in 32 consumer electronics product categories. Healthcare and Eco-Design and Sustainable Technology are the most recent additions to the awards program.
The awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the producer of the International CES, and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). The 2008 Best of Innovations honorees will be announced at the New York Press Preview and showcased at CES Unveiled@NY on Nov. 13, 2007, at the Metropolitan Pavilion.
The Best of Innovations awards are given to the most honored products in each of the 32 categories. Honorees also are highlighted and featured in the Innovations Showcase at Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Convention Center during the International CES.
