Sierra Video Systems, a manufacturer of professional video and audio equipment, has announced an upgrade of its Lassen XL analog routing switchers. The new models have increased bandwidth and IP connectivity.
The company said the rear panels of all Lassen family routing switchers are now outfitted with RJ-45 connectors for IP communication over Ethernet, and continue to offer RS-232/422 control capability. For Lassen XL composite video routing switchers, improved XL video boards allow for increased bandwidth to 300MHz at -3dB.
Lassen XL routing switchers are available in sizes from 12 x 4 to 32 x 32 with redundant power supply optional in 32 x 16 and 32 x 32 models. All Lassen routing switchers are interoperable with all other Sierra Video Systems routing switchers, functioning as master or slave in the system.
Like previous Lassen models, they are outfitted with a front-panel LCD display and Sierra Video Systems’ Qwik Adjust Knob rotary control interface. Sierra Video Systems’ SCP Series programmable control panels, as well as XY and single bus remote control panels, support Lassen XL routing switchers.
The Lassen XL, HD and SDI routing switchers are currently available from the Sierra Video Systems and Kramer Electronics worldwide reseller networks.
