Artel Video Systems releases three new models DL4000 video transport platform

Artel’s three new DL4000 video transport modules were developed in response to consumers wanting more chassis options.
Artel Video Systems has made available three new models of the DL4000 video transport platform: the DL4042, DL4100 and DL4000P.
Artel’s new models are compatible with DL4000 function modules and have dramatically lower price points. The DL4042 is 1RU, holds up to four DL4000 modules and features fixed dual AC power supplies. The DL4100 is a small, compact chassis for a single module with an external universal AC power supply, ideally suited for desktop applications, while the DL4000P is a passive design for housing up to four optical modules. With slots for up to four modules in 1RU and unlimited non-spaced stacking, the DL4000 is extremely space efficient.
The development of these new chassis came as direct result of input from customers who wanted more chassis options, both to lower costs and space requirements.
