At NAB2008, Nemal Electronics showcased its recently introduced DT12 cable tester.
The DT12 cable tester provides fast, comprehensive testing for all DT12-to-DT12 and DT12-to-XLR cable assemblies and breakout boxes. The tester features male and female inputs for both DT12 and XLR connectors to provide immediate, simultaneous verification and identification of each pair.
The unit will detect shorts and opens, including shorts to the XLR shell. The tester also features an easy-to-read LED display.
