Sunrise Telecom unveils SSMTT-41

May 24, 2006 8:00 AM

Sunrise Telecom has introduced the SSMTT-41 (SunSet Modular Test Toolkit) module, an essential tool for triple play to the home deployments.

The multi-function test tool supports VDSL line verification function and inside wiring tests in an integrated system. The SSMTT-41 includes a VDSL modem, HPNA analyzer, RF signal level meter, spectrum analyzer and wiring test features in a single unit.

The easy-to-use SSMTT-41 verifies that inside wiring is capable of supporting IPTV signals by analyzing the HPNA signals on the in-house coax or twisted-pair wiring. The unit verifies cable continuity, detects broken diplexers, provides cable identification and estimates the cable length. Additionally, the SSMTT-41 analyzes RF video signals and identifies interference using the integrated RF signal level meter and spectrum analyzer functions.
