Free Live Webinar on September 10, 2013 at 2:00 PM
Hosted by Broadcast Engineering
Sponsored by Florical Systems
The evolution to multi-channel and multi-platform distribution has both changed and challenged the role of automation. With the consolidation in station groups and their interest in centralizing operations, the cloud is becoming a viable technology to support enterprise video workflows. Streamlining content deliver in the program origination center is the first step, followed by intelligent demand-based distribution systems.
Next generation automation is one of the cor systems necessary to handle the sources, interact with traffic systems and business intelligence, and process content to deliver across many channels and platforms at the same time. Building distribution and playout systems using automation and centralizing operations can offer considerable efficiencies. Across geo-diverse station groups, moving content and control information can be cumbersome. Looking towards cloud services is one way to both manage costs and streamline operations. This webinar will look at the role automation plays and how it can support consolidated content origination centers.
